This will be an open group discussion on one of the most fundamental basic Rituals in Ceremonial Magick. The Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram (or LBRP), though a very compact Ritual, contains some incredibly condensed symbolism and meaning. We will be exploring these deeper meanings with an in-depth look at the Ritual's elements, including the esoteric symbol of the Pentagram itself. As this will be a discussion format, attendees are welcome to bring their own insights, ideas and experiences to the table.

The Angel and the Abyss: examining the A:.A:. System of Initiation

This talk will look at the A:.A:., its origins, how a magician can practically make use of the system, what we can gain from it, and considerations when seeking out a magical teacher. We will also look at the attainment of the Holy Guardian Angel and the act of Crossing the Abyss as the two fundamental goals of the system, what they mean, and how they might be accomplished.

Announcement: The Formation of the Temple of Our Lady of the Stars

     A new Thelemic fraternity is forming in Toronto. The Temple of Our Lady of the Stars is a mystery school following in the occult tradition begun by the Golden Dawn, and that has continued down to groups such as the Temple of Thelema and the Temple of the Silver Star.

     It offers training for aspirants in applied Thelemic philosophy, Qabalistic and Hermetic knowledge, and practical mysticism and magick. The curriculum consists of a supervised course of training that takes members from a primary initiation through a series of graded degrees that lead to a second initiation into the Mysteries of Tiphereth.
